Debbie has been involved in the horse industry for more than 30 years. She began her equestrian career as a three-day event rider and was selected as an alternate to train with the U.S. Olympic eventing team in the ’70s. During this time, Debbie trained with Jimmy Wofford, and roomed with Karen O’Connor.
By the ’80s Debbie had become immersed in the Hunter/Jumper world and by the mid 80’s she opened Windswept Farm with the vision of providing professional training services to clients in the Hunter / Jumper industry. Debbie’s dedication and experience has guided many riders to successful show careers on the “AA” circuit, including success at Devon, Indoors, and Pony Finals. Windswept Farm provides a solid training system for both horse and rider. Many junior riders have received scholarships to major universities through their equestrian achievements with Windswept Farm.

Tommy Divecchia has many years of experience in the horse industry as a rider and teacher, however, he is most passionate about horse care. Knowing that success in the show ring is founded on the health and wellbeing of the horse, he has dedicated himself to barn management. Having grown up in the horse industry, his interest and experience as a barn manager began early when he had the opportunity to work for and learn from many top stables at the beginning of his career. He has been a part of Windswept farms since 1981.

Megan officially joined the staff of Windswept Farm in the spring of 2019, after participating in daily activities here for over a year. She started riding as a 5 year-old and hasn’t looked back since. She has been part of the North Texas riding and showing community for many years and has spent the last few years competing from Pre Green through the Green Conformation Hunters. She also has several years’ experience in the jumper divisions on several horses including her recently imported mount Heylo. Megan has an exceptional feel and attentiveness for the horses she rides preparing them well for Windswept’s Adult and Junior riders. She also adds a different perspective to clients while assisting Debbie in our lesson program.
